I've wanted to check out Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township, Michigan, for some time now. I had the opportunity this weekend to attend the Carnevil Haunted Forest.
If you've never heard of Glenlore Trails, it's an illuminated forest. It's a beautiful walk through the forest, about a mile long, while looking at all kinds of illuminated and interactive exhibits. The amount of detail and the length of the attraction are well worth the cost.
As I write this, there are very few dates left for the Carnevil Haunted Forest but there is usually always some cool attraction coming up at Glenlore Trails. The Aurora which is a wintery experience returns to Glenlore Trails on 11/17. It looks stunning!
I saw all ages at this event. If you have small children who are scared easily, this might not be the event for them. With that being said, I saw tons of kids absolutely loving it. Also, this is the perfect place for date nights and for teenagers who love Instagramable places.
I was worried that there wouldn't be restrooms, but there were port-a-potties everywhere. Also, I spotted a taco truck, and Glenlore Trails offers some food, drinks, and cocktails. So, all comforts are there when you're visiting Glenlore Trails.
It's hard to pick my favorite part of this event, but I enjoyed the bubble fountains since you could get really cool pictures, the trees being illuminated, and I loved the huge interactive cauldron.
I definitely give Glenlore Trails 5/5 stars. I would definitely come back for a date night when they have their next event.
