Get outside and kick off autumn at Harvest Day at Ford House.
There will be lots of free fun for everyone, including old-school lawn games, a petting zoo, horse and pony rides, face painting, a giant leaf pile, hands-on activities, and plenty of photo opps. The outdoors is yours to explore, plus you can take a peek inside the historic house and stroll through the first floor.
What would a fall outing be without a tasty treat of cider and donuts? Blake Farms will set up shop here, selling their seasonal best right here at Ford House. Enjoy it on site or take it home!
We will also host a mini fall market, with local farmers offering their harvest wares: pumpkins, apples, fall bouquets and more. Vendors include Detroit Abloom, Green Toe Gardens and more. For the grownups, Blake’s will have samples of their hard cider, beer and wine, which will also be available for purchase.
Plus Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers will be on hand offering burgers, hot dogs, fries and brats for the family. Bring a picnic blanket and relax on the estate lawn!
Entry to Ford House for Harvest Day is just $15 per vehicle. Purchase it in advance at www.fordhouse.org/events
The event is rain or shine. Space is limited in the historic home, and tours are available on a first come-first served basis.

A Kooky, Spooky, Delightful, Frightful, Family Friendly Costume Carnival!
Everyone is invited to dress-up and join us for the best Halloween Party in Macomb Township! A full evening of activities and attractions are planned for the entire family to experience. Families will have the opportunity to take in a magic show, walk the vendor-sponsored Trick or Treat Trail, stroll through the haunted house, dance the night away at Monster Studio 54, get your hair and nails done at the Freaky Hair Salon & Spa or make crafts at our “Boo-tique”.
Last but not least, families can commemorate the evening by stopping by the Adam’s Family Portrait Studio to have their picture taken. Concessions will be available for sale at our Caution Café throughout the evening. Coolers and outside food are not allowed inside the Macomb Township Recreation Center. Tickets for Halloween Hoopla must be purchased in advance, there will be no tickets sold at the door. Ticket sales are limited to the first 700 people registered for this event.
