bd's Mongolian Grill Royal Oak
Bd's Mongolian Grill is known for stir-fry, but over the years it has become so much more than that. It's a place where you might grab a strawberry margarita like that one pictured above. Or, swing by for an appetizer or dessert!
My husband and I were invited out to check out the menu. It had been a while since we've had a date night and I was so excited! My favorite thing on the planet is eating out.
We started with an appetizer, which was Crab Rangoon. I've had it before it's actually one of my favorites. Crab Rangoon is cream cheese and seafood fried in a wonton. It comes out golden and crispy. I also love the sweet dipping sauce that comes with it.
Then my husband and I were off to make our fun creations. I love winging it while my husband usually grabs a recipe card.
One of the reasons I love bd's Mongolian Grill is because I can stay on my eating plan if I want. If I need to go low carb, it's a wonderland of different meats and veggies all cooked to perfection. This wasn't one of those visits. I was diving right into delicious foods.
Oh, I don't want to forget to mention bd's has yum yum sauce. I LOVE yum yum sauce. I dipped everything in it!
I'm not embarrassed to tell you I shoveled my chocolate cake into my mouth before I could get a picture. It was good. Here is Matt's cheesecake. He obviously had more restraint with his dessert than I did. LOL.
After all of these years, bd's Mongolian Grill Royal Oak is still a staple in this community. If you grew up going, it's time to introduce the next generation to this tasty restaurant. I was just thinking I've never taken my girls to this restaurant. I think they would enjoy it.
