There are so many WONDERFUL reasons to give the gift of  Detroit Zoo memberships so I thought I would list some of my favorite ideas!

• When you visit the Detroit Zoo, it's a learning experience. Every single time I've visited I've learned something new from merely watching the animals or talking with a Detroit Zoo employee.
• When you purchase a membership, you not only help support the animals at the Detroit Zoo but you're helping support animals at Belle Isle Nature Center as well. 
• With an annual membership, your parking is included. Don't forget about the seasonal members-only entrance which lets you skip the long lines.
• My favorite memory is the summer concerts at the zoo. Your family can have a weekly date full of giggles, dancing, and it's not usually crowded in the exhibits.
• When you're a member, you can buy advanced tickets for special events. My personal favorite is the adult wine event. Grab your friends for an adult night or attend a kid-friendly event.
• Winter is a fabulous time to visit the Detroit Zoo! Many of the animals are active in their natural habitats during the winter. So, grab your hat and gloves and visit the polar bears, camels, arctic foxes, wolverines, and red pandas. This is just a short list of the fantastic things you will find during the winter months.
