I recently took a survey for a company starting-up. The company is called Farios and they want to help you navigate big medical! I truly believe this would be so beneficial for many people I know.
Most people navigate through a portion of their life with no medical issues or having to deal with BIG insurance bills. At some point in our lives, most of us will become sick. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have someone on YOUR side that knows the ins and out of the medical profession?
Medical Insurance Help
A friend of mine has a daughter that has a rare disease. They're swimming in medical bills. Most people don't realize that these crazy bills can be negotiated, or even cut in half. It's ridiculous when you see an Advil for like $500. This is where Fairos would come in to help with bill negotiations.
Fairos would also offer Telehealth. Telehealth would allow you the patient, to email, phone, or video call your appointments instead of going to the doctor's office. I personally love this idea because I always think about all of the germs just going to the doctor's office. This would make my life so much easier!
Also, Fairos would offer care-coordination. I think this would be great for an older person! Fairos would set up your schedule for your medical journey for you including follow-up appointments so it would be one less thing to worry about.
Fairos is a brand-new startup company that is looking to change what is broken with medical insurance. Their team has been working with large companies to help their employees get the cheapest rates and the highest quality care for years. In that process, they realized that no one paying more for insurance than individuals like us. They believe that is wrong, and plan to do something about it.
“Big medical” has created a maze of complexity for the patient experience, including high premiums and medical bills that are intentionally confusing. Fairos plans to fight against that and hopes to see millions of people receiving the medical care they need without the crippling and confusing effects of high medical costs.
