We live in a scary time. A time where kids have access to adult things that are way over their heads. Nowadays kids have lives that we don't know about all thanks to social media. That all can change thanks to Gryphon Home Internet Protection.
I have parental controls on my children's phone just like most people. I also do a random check of my teenager's phone so she won't have time to go into let's delete all of this as fast as I can so mom can't see it.

The installation is easy. Okay, I had my husband set it up. Basically, it plugged into our Xfinity router and into the wall. You download a nifty little app, and the setup begins.
You set up each person's user account when you connect to the wifi. After you set up this system, I highly recommend changing your passcode on your old wi-fi or better yet change the password and then set up the new system. Kids are smart if you don't change the password on the old wifi your kid will just switch back over to your old network and we don't want that to happen.
As you can see I have 4 managed devices which means if my kids don't listen I can pause their internet. Woot, score a win for team mom. This works for computers, tablets and all the electronics that you can connect to the internet!
I'm not going to show the user accounts to protect our privacy, but when you set up the kids phones it allows you to mark what school they're in meaning middle school, etc. and the list of what you allow is completely customizable!
You can even block your child from apps like Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.
Also, you can see every website your child visits. I just wish they made this clickable instead of just giving a snapshot.
My favorite part is you can setup bedtimes and homework times, so you don't have to worry about what I call phone abuse.
