Modern Map Art Review & Giveaway

I was recently contacted to check out the fantastically talented Modern Map Art. It was perfect timing for me because I'm in the process of buying a beach rental and even though it's coming partially furnished I still need a few things and to add my own "Crystal" touches to it.

I immediately started searching on the website for Michigan prints. Even though I complain during the winter, I still enjoy the changing seasons. Since the new home is going to be a beach rental, I looked for any place that was on the water. I decided that Traverse City, Michigan is one of my favorite places to visit and would be perfect to frame.

Modern Map Art is a genius. They take your favorite cities and places and turn them into beautiful maps for you to enjoy forever. Do you have a special place that you love? I almost picked the Bahamas because that's another special place that we've traveled to a few times.

I love the fact the maps are drawn by hand. So you know that lots of time and love are poured into creating these special pieces.

For me, it's not just about the place but the memories associated with the experience. When I selected Traverse City, my mind went back a year ago to a girl's weekend I had with my friends. 




I decided not to hang my print on the wall. I've been seeing lots of artwork leaning against the walls as decorations, so that's what I decided to do with mine. I liked it so much it may not make it to my beach rental.
