My girls are on mid-winter break this week. So, we gathered up a few friends and headed to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan located at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills. I think everyone else had the same idea! It was one hopping place!
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan
We had never had a chance to check out LEGOLAND Discovery Zone before so we were excited to visit, along with checking out the LEGO Batman display that is going on right now.
My personal favorite was the Miniland. If you look closely, you will find Batman, the Joker, and other fun characters in the LEGO displays. In the above pictures, you will find the Detroit Princess Boat, Metro Detroit skyline, and the Tiger's stadium all made out of LEGO'S!
My daughter, Keira, loved the rides and the 4-D movie. When you visit LEGOLAND, make sure to watch the short twenty-minute film. The special effects are spectacular!
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan has tons to keep younger kids entertained. I would recommend LEGOLAND to anyone with children ten and younger. Also, it's perfect for anyone that is a LEGO fan. There are even classes with Master Builders!
All the information to catch the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan celebration of LEGO Batman is listed below. Make sure to check out my LEGO Batman Toys post!

Scene-Stealing DC Super Hero to Headline The LEGO® Batman™ Movie Days for two weekends
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. XX, 2017 – Super hero. Crime-fighter. Master Builder. LEGO® Batman™ is all of those and so much more. With the scene-stealing star of The LEGO Movie returning in his very own, highly anticipated big-screen adventure, The LEGO Batman Movie, from Warner Bros. Pictures and LEGO System A/S. LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan will celebrate the caped crusader with an exclusive new event taking place on February 18-19 and 25-26.
Developed with The LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, The LEGO® Batman™ Movie Days promises an epic weekend of fun for families, with everything centered on the beloved crime- fighter who claims he “only works in black. And sometimes, very, very dark gray.”
“We are excited to host two weekends of incredible fun celebrating the opening of The LEGO Batman Movie,” said Hayley Anderson, general manager for LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan. “The attraction will be superhero-ready for families from across the state to enjoy fun-filled days of LEGO building with Batman™ and all his crime-fighting friends.”
The eagerly anticipated feature film from Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Animation Group and LEGO System A/S will hit theaters worldwide beginning Friday, Feb. 10, but in February, fans can meet Gotham City’s iconic DC Super Hero in LEGO form only at LEGOLAND theme parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers. Included with admission to each LEGOLAND attraction, The LEGO Batman Movie Days will include special games and activities throughout the attraction, from a themed scavenger hunt in MINILAND to a large-scale mosaic build featuring characters from the movie and photo opportunities with LEGO Batman.
