Aqua-Tots Swim Schools launches FREE Swim Program for Infants
Beginning February 13th, Aqua-Tots Swim Schools will launch Tiny Tot Time, a FREE weekly open swim time for parents with infants 0-6 months old. The Tiny Tot Time program is designed to introduce infants to water in a safe, controlled environment while also providing a fun, free opportunity for new parents to bond with their children. With pool temperatures at a comfortable 90 degrees, and large, clean locker rooms, Aqua-Tots Swim Schools are designed for families and can accommodate children of all ages. Their six Metro Detroit locations are also centrally located in major commercial districts, with easy access and ample parking.
Increased physical, emotional, and mental development are just some of the benefits of introducing young children to the water. Given a large number of lakes and pools in Michigan, Aqua-Tots places equal emphasis on teaching water safety and drowning prevention. Should parents desire a more structured learning environment, Aqua-Tots also offers formal classes for children ages 4 months and up. The Tiny Tot Time program is open to the general public, but parent participation is required as there will be no active lifeguard on duty. Please bring towels, swimsuits, and a disposable and re-useable diaper for the child (also available for purchase).
