Trendy Clothes Women Over 40

By now you're probably no longer shopping at Forever 21 or the recently closed Wet Seal. Gone are the days of wearing cutoff shorts and your bikini top. Well, at least I hope so but to each is own! Forty doesn't mean you need a pair of polyester pants! Hmm, I wonder if they're comfortable? I don't want to ever know. So, I'm putting together some trendy clothes women over 40!

These solid v-neck criss-cross tees are hot right now. I also found that they run a bit big. I purchased a medium and could have probably used a small or extra small. They come in a few different colors and can be worn with the criss-cross in the front or in the back. 


The vest I purchased from Stitch Fix is pictured above, which also came with a crazy price tag. I found a close match to this puffer vest that comes in multiple colors and a great price! These plaid flannels are also famous with this cute and warm zip-up vest.


Forget about revealing your plumbers crack and things that are not meant to be seen with junior-sized jeans. A forty plus women should have learned to not rely on uncomfortable articles of clothing, well at least I have. I have fallen in love with Jeans from Kut from the Kloth. Yes, they're a tad pricey, but they will last you for many years to come!


Since I spend most of my days driving my children back and forth, I'm a gal that insists on comfort. I hate to admit it but most of my days are spent in my brushed leggings. I recently purchased this polka-dot sweater and fell head over heels. Pair it with a pair of Kut from the Kloth Jeans and Report shoes, and you will be styling! PS. All of your friends will also want a pair of the Report shoes, plus they're pretty comfy!
