Nothing says summer like enjoying ice cream with friends and family on a particularly hot day. In Michigan, we've been through a hot, dry spell. Yesterday, my car temperature read a whopping 104 degrees. My husband and I decided it would be the perfect day for the kids to have a few friends over, hop in the pool, and do a little ice cream taste testing. July is a perfect time since it is National Ice Cream Month.

I love that this ice cream supports such a great cause! 
We decided to try six of the Jack Nicklaus ice cream flavors and see if we could find a winner. Below is the list of flavors we tried:
Black Cherry Ice Cream
Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl
Salted Carmel Toffee Ice Cream
Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream
Triple Chocolate
Warm Spiced Butter Pecan
We couldn't all agree on one single winner because they all were so good but we agree that we had some favorites. The first ice cream to completely disappear from the container was the Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream. A close second one emptied was the Triple Chocolate. The third place winner, voted number 1 by all of the males at the party, was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl.
As you can see, the kids were all smiles and in ice cream heaven!
