Enjoy a concert by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the United States Army Field Band, Concert Band, and Soldiers’ Chorus. For the grand finale, the DSO plays Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, featuring authentic cannon fire and a spectacular fireworks display accompanied by live patriotic music.

Greenfield Village is spread over dozens of acres-- the location of the concert stage is in Walnut Grove (approximately 1/2 mile from the front gates of Greenfield Village). Comfortable clothing and comfortable walking shoes are a must. The concert will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Dressing for the weather is a must. Bring umbrellas / rain gear and prepare for a wide range of temperatures.
Please do not bring alcoholic beverages; outside alcohol is not permitted. All packages will be searched for alcohol at the Village gates. Beer and wine are available for purchase inside Greenfield Village.
