Disney's Tomorrowland Review

#Tomorrowland
In Disney’s riveting mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” a jaded scientist and an optimistic teen embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space.
Last week my daughters and I went to an early screening of Tomorrowland. We all enjoyed watching the movie. It reminded me of a movie my siblings and I liked when I was a kid called The Neverending Story. Some elements of the movie were like National Treasure, Men In Black, and even The Lorax. But, it had it's own unique mystery, adventure, rebellion, and a scary future that needs to be changed. I liked when Casey says, "Even the tiniest of actions can change the future." It gives kids the idea that anything is possible.
For younger kids, the fighting and robots weren't too scary, but they may get bored because the movie is 130 minutes long. The only part that scared my youngest daughter, who is 8, was when a robot's head was detached and it could still move and talk. My 12 year old daughter's middle school is actually taking a field trip to see Tomorrowland. Enough about what I thought, read what my daughters had to say about it. Warning, spoilers!
Dreamers need to stick together.
Katelyn, age 12, review:
I saw Disney's Tomorrowland in the Emagine theater. My favorite part was when Frank, as a kid, went through the It's a small world ride. One funny part was when Athena said that she didn't laugh at Frank's jokes because he wasn't funny. My favorite character is Athena. Athena is a robot who is supposed to find dreamers. She gave these pins to them. She gave the last one to Casey. Casey wondered why. When she touched the pin she saw a commercial of the Tomorrowland world. But when she got there it was a disaster. There were robots and a lot of action. I thought it was a great movie. It was really funny and I would want to see it again. I would recommend this movie to all of my friends.

Rylie, age 8, review:
I saw Tomorrowland. It was really cool. But, my favorite character died, which is sad. It was really creative. There were robots in it and they looked cute. It looks crazy when they are in the teleporter. You should see it!
Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.
“Tomorrowland” promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
Fun fact about the movie: In addition to sets in Spain and Canada, locations included the “It’s a small world” ride at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., a beach in the Bahamas, and a second-unit shoot in Paris. In total, the film had over 90 different combinations of sets and locations, and moved ten times.
