Country Music’s biggest summer entertainer – Kenny Chesney – brings his 2013 ‘No Shoes Nation’ Tour to Ford Field on Saturday, August 17. After six consecutive sold out shows at Ford Field since 2006, Eric Church, Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves will join Chesney for his seventh summer stop in Detroit.

“One of country music’s most triumphant…superstars” (The NY Times), Kenny Chesney has had 24 #1 singles, ten platinum albums, and over 27 million albums sold. The release of his thirteenth album 'Welcome To The Fishbowl' last summer coincided with the blockbuster, 22-stadium 'Brothers of the Sun ' Tour, with Chesney and Tim McGraw. Chesney is a CMT and AMA Artist of the Year, a four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, and a four-time ACM Entertainer of the Year.

Prior to the concert, DLI Entertainment is again partnering with 99.5 FM WYCD to host the summer’s biggest party – The Beach Bash – on Brush Street in front of Ford Field. The Beach Bash is free and open to the public from 1:00 – 4:00 pm and offers live entertainment, various games and other activities. In addition, WYCD will broadcast live from the event.
